Sat 21st March 2009
Dirty Rottens Captain Bevan Johnston has been banned from racing for 3 weeks from the racing against
the Firecats at Wanganui on March 16th. The Ban was for making contact with a car which was clearly on the infield.
This type of behaviour will not be tollerated by anyone. Johnston will effectivley miss the Demolition Derby at Wanganui
on April 4th the last day of the ban.
Johnston says that even though he was not the only culprit he accepts the decision and admits what he did was wrong.

What a busy weekend.
Well we are glad Terry Sutton is home recovering after his nasty clash with the wall.
Terry is doing well and when I asked him about which way he wears his kneck brace he said Velcro to the front.
If you want to race in our meetings it is now a requirement to wear the horseshoe neck brace with the velcro to the rear.
This is compulsory as is the wearing of gloves.
Sunday 23/03/08
Congratulations to Kylie Heibner winner of NZ Outlaws Youth Ministock Trophy. This event was held for the first time and is an annual event.
Congratulations to the Bruisers in retaining the NZ Ladies Teams Champs by wining both races which were close and Generation x are certainly worthy opponents.
Both Dads Army and the Nu Generation have qualified for todays semi finals.
Two more teams will be found in a brutal repercharge at 1pm today.
I am off back to the track now.
1am Weds 19th March.
Huge day today geting team Aussie cars ready. Still need to get one car ready for them but have 4 cars now painted and all welded up.
Teams are Wild Bunch (Auckland) Junk Yard Dog's (Division of Dirty Rottens Inc) Nu Generation (Hawkes Bay) TEAM KAOS (Wellington) Dads Army (Taranaki) Taranaki Vultures (Taranaki) Rivercity Scrappers (Wanganui) Team Aussie (Melbourne Australia)
We also Have the ladies teams Generation X from Hawkes Bay and the Bruisers from (Wanganui)
11am Sat the week before.
There is a heap of work to be done over the next week to enable us to have some fantastic racing. The Australians are coming and there cars are being built and must be painted ready for the truck to load on Thursday.
The Midget cars have asked to race at Easter also so that is great.
The Ladies teams will have a fun battle with the Bruisers putting the Championship on the line. They have won the championship every time it has been contested since 1998 and have still got 2 of the original drivers in Garrett and Johnston.
Well I must go build some more cars.
Bevan
Wow I can now upload pics again so please email us any decent pics.
Easter is looming real fast it is gouing to be a real hoot.
Once again we have been screwed around by SNZ.
The Wanganui Club was happy to alllow us to run our meeting there at Easter.
The Wanganui Council and local businesses are supportive of our events in Wanganui.
SNZ said no to Wanganui Stockcar and Saloon Car Club allowing us to run our meeting there and when asked by the Secretary and President to support the Event and revisit the matter.
SNZ decided not to revisit the matter.
This has no bearing on the great relationship we have with the local club.
Further to the in competence of SNZ I personally received an account for a $50 which started out as a $20 fine nearly two years ago. I was on a One Day License at the time so any fine would be due to Rick Campbell as he was the licenced driver who signed m one day license.
Seeing as Rick signed it I paid on the night to the SNZ represntative and thought that was the end of the matter until several months later when the first account with interest arrived.
I have contacted SNZ each time and the last 3 times it has been a new person.
Todays contact was the best but still no luck.
What baffles me is the way they do not even know there own rules.
So knowing that Waikaraka Park is being used for Fender Benders this Sunday and that we have been running our meetings for 15 years with one weekends one day licenses worth nearly $3000 I am pissed off.
The SNZ former CEO Josh Cleaver made us look second rate when in the NZ herald he was quoted as saying we were the instigators of Bloosport and abut OSH and accidents.
The facts are we have hurt no spectators and have a very small list of injuries over the 15 years.
With only two overnight stays in hospital which were both at SNZ controled and SNZ run meeings.
WE are runnig at Ferndene International Speedway at Easter weekend and you are invited to come race or spectate.
We wpould love you to come along.
