7.15pm 6th October 2009

Wow so much has happened since the last update.

A huge congratulations to Team KAOS for doing the Tua on all the

other teams at the Easter NZ 4 Cylinder Champs at Ferndene.

Team KAOS was totally dominant and will be as always hard to beat in the future.

The Aussies played and raced hard but were unable to claim the winners prize they did have

the  biggest rollover award whislt dispatching Alistair Thomson who rolled mutiple times

but after a few moments was back on his feet to the cheers of the crowd.

The Dirty Rottens triumped over the 2XS Firecats in all three races. The result of the last race was overturned by officials because Bevan Johnston hit a car that was on the grass. We have really good footage of a Firecat drivers door hit on his team mate who was on the grass.

Dirt Rotten by name but not by nature so we did some payack.

At the end of the first race two Rottens cars were hit hard after the race and Bevan was taken out during a red light in the second race.

At the end of the day it was three exciting races.

RESULTS FROM TOURNAMENT OF DESTRUCTION XII

DAD's ARMY defeated last years champions in what can only be described as the

battle of the weekend.

This was a reversal of last years NZ TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP.

CONGRATULATIONS DAD's ARMY on a Committed and exciting win.

RESULTS FROM TOURNAMENT OF DESTRUCTCTION XI FERNDENE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

NZ LADIES TEAMS CHAMPS 2008  Bruisers

4 Cylinder NZ CHAMPS 2008  Nu Generation

OUTLAWS NZ YOUTH MINISTOCK CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 Kyle Heibner

What an exciting weekend o racing and fun.

The first Championship to be decided was the Ladies  with the Bruisers having two straight

 wins and no decider needed.

The wins were by no means easy with Generation X in the lead several times inthe two encounters.

Dee Jones for Generation X certainly had her car flying and was certainly the quickest on the Ferndene track.

Sherrilyn Johnston just waited after being spun early in the race and settled down with her targets locked in and unfortunatly for Generation X she was right on Target.

Shazz took the chequered flag in both races with Tania, Gail and Alysha all having good races and getting better each time out on the track.

With a small field of Ministocks Kyle Heibner was always going to shine.

He was right up with the leaders in All his races taking out the 2nd race witha start to finish win.

He will be hard to beat next season if he defends the title as he will have even more experience.

The Nu Generation had to much smarts about them  and got what they came for when they dispatched all the teams they raced.

Only one team won all there races and that was Nu Generation. The final was brutal with KAOS out in front but Gallantly Nu Generation worked away at KAOS and came away with the win.

Hopefully lots of photos were taken and will be sent in.
